AC Schnitzer ACS4: BMW Z4 Roadster & Coupe

A quick search on AC Schnitzer’s site revealed that besides the ACS3 Coupe, the BMW tuner will present one, or to be exact, two more souped-up bimmer models at the upcoming ESSEN Motor Show in Germany. The ACS4 Roadster & Coupe are based on the recently facelifted Z4 Roadster and it’s new Coupe sibling -including the M editions. According to the press release, the product ACS4 range extends from suspension components and exhaust systems, through a wide range of wheel and tyre combinations, to special aerodynamic conversions and last but not least, interior accessories. And yes, your right, no (official) word on any performance upgrades, for now, that is.

ESSEN Motor Show: AC Schnitzer ACS3 Coupe

ESSEN is Europe’s way of saying… SEMA and what would a tuning show in Germany be without AC Schnitzer! This year, the German based BMW specialist will debut at the ESSEN Show (December 1 – 10) the ACS3 Coupe. Based on the E92 3 Series Coupe, the ACS3 features a new bodykit, alloys and depending on the depth of your wallet, various suspension and engine upgrades. AC Schnitzer Tension : From Concept to Street Version

Remember the "bugs bunny" toothed AC Schnitzer Tension Concept of the 2005 IAA (Frankfurt Motor Show) that put all Bangle creations to shame (see the yellow colored 6 Series) ? Well, its no concept anymore as BMW specialist, AC Schnitzer decided to put this wacky looking version of the BMW 6 Series in production.

On the other hand, we should feel lucky that no more than 50 examples will be built. The conversion work will be performed exclusively by AC Schnitzer in Aachen. The only exceptions are the USA and Japan, where trained specialists perform the vehicle conversion locally.
